In My Mind

I found you on the internet as it was meant to be
I knew that your friend would be me
It was sometime in April
You were destined to be with me in eternity
A girl with a story
And memories to worry.

Words on the screen
from the beginning I was keen
to understand who you were
Called yourself a different name
Wasn't a game.
I never knew what would become of that. 

Writing short messages.
Getting to know you.
Trying to understand.
Helping if I could
Trying to give hope -
Foolish as it seems
Changing the world in my dreams.


In my dreams
Shadows call
There are monsters behind of it all.
I wished I could take you away.
But I knew it all would come back
One day

I dream of a place where we could meet at last
Perhaps my place?
My place?
I wished I could offer you a safe haven
A place you would feel loved.
"I′ll meet you right there
among friends safe and sound."

I don't know what it's like
Not to know if you`ll live
To have lived in the shadows
And suffered so much
You've seen flashes of fire
Heard the echo of screams
But I still have this hope
That all will be well

There is hope
All you dreams will come true one day
For sure.
It is true
Don't be afraid to go on
